The Interfaith Community Iftar, an annual tradition in Davis for Ramadan took place Friday at the Davis Senior Center.

Hosted by Davis Muslim Hands, the event hopes to bring together people from all backgrounds to learn more about Ramadan.

During Ramadan, Muslims focus on self-discipline and improving their character by fasting during the day, the release said. The day’s fast is broken at iftar, the evening meal.
